My name is Heather Lytle and I work for a non-profit family organization called F.A.C.T.   F.A.C.T. staff work to support families that include a person with a disability.  We are an organization that hires parents and guardians of people with disabilities who then in turn support other parents and guardians using a peer mentor approach.

Today we're announcing the launch of our newest addition to the FAMCare reporting suite.  We are promoting a new secure way to run, manipulate and CUT your FAMCare data using EXCEL.

At Global Vision Technologies, Inc.,(GVT), we spend a lot of time on Research & Development. This R&D falls under several different categories: new features, bug fixes, and performance improvements.

As an administrator or Power User of your FAMCare system, you’ve got entry forms set up, you’ve set your pathways, you have a lot of data in your system that has been entered by your users, and now you need to get it out in a format that is useful and valuable!

I often start my day by opening up a browser and checking the weather.  A couple months ago when the weather site loaded, it looked completely different!  It took me a few minutes to learn the navigation of the site and all was well.  But why did they change the site?  It appears there was no new or different information--it was simply a cosmetic upgrade with different navigation.  I felt a few minutes of my life had been wasted for no reason.

Having spent years working with troubled youth, I have learned one tool that is both the most useful and the most difficult thing to learn when helping kids: “Shut up and Listen”. Bill Engvall has a stand-up comedy act where his catch phase is “I should have just shut up”.

These days, we all live in a high or higher stress environment, work, home, kids and life all add to your stress levels  According to socialworkers.org 80% of social workers believes stress is a major factor at work. 

We've heard a lot about technology and how it's changing our lives. Every day a new invention that can "make our lives better" seems to come out — who would have thought we were going to be living like the Jetsons?  

How has the smart phone improved your productivity?  Who would have thought that in 2016 most of us would be carrying around a very, very powerful computer in our pockets that in an instant can give us any piece of information we're looking for - on demand?
