ST. LOUIS, MO, | Sacramento, CA July 24, 2013 -- Lilliput Children's Services, a private non-profit child welfare agency and specialist in domestic adoption in Northern California, has partnered with Global Vision Technologies to implement FAMCare case management software. FAMCare is a software system for human services data management - that brings together all the data collection, information management and reporting tools needed to deliver the best care to vulnerable children in Northern California.
"As Lilliput's programs have grown and become more complex, we recognized a need for a more robust case management software system. Our research of various software packages led us to select FAMCare. It is highly customizable, yet quite cost effective when compared to other products in the market. Our team appreciates how user friendly FAMCare is and the excellent customer service we have received as we endeavor to implement FAMCare agency wide. As we strive to integrate quality improvement strategies through all of our programs, we look forward to the availability of better and timelier data from FAMCare," said Karen Alvord, CEO of Lilliput.
Over 26,000 California children entered the foster care system last year due to abuse or neglect. Lilliput is a forerunner in the State in helping children find permanency with family when they are unable to live with their birth parents. Last year, this presented as serving hundreds of children and families within the community and helping achieve permanency through adoption for 569 children. FAMCare will help track their cases and provide caseworkers with strategic workflow that will save them time and improve reporting.
"I love that there is so much a non-programmer can do in the system. This makes it very cost effective and gives us more control over the final product. I am recommending FAMCare to everyone who asks me about social service/mental health database systems," said Louise Angermann, Outcomes and Evaluation Manager at Lilliput.
"We are very proud to have had the opportunity to work closely with Lilliput over the last few months. We absolutely support the great work they do for the children and families in Northern California. FAMCare is providing Lilliput with clean and accessible information - empowering the team to make the right decisions when needed, said George Ritacco, Executive Director Client Services for GVT."

Lately we've been hearing a lot from clients and from agencies that see a demo of FAMCare - about how different the FAMCare interface is from other case management and behavioral health software systems on the market today.
We talk to a lot of people in social services every day. We learn so much about how each of them define success at their agencies. Because of the intuitive configuration and personalization tools built into FAMCare - FAMCare works very well for agencies regardless of their specialization and the different populations they may serve (children, adults, disabled, courts, detention, residential, etc.,).
