Commission to Eliminate Child Abuse and Fatalities to Hold First Public Meeting

This announcement comes to us from our friends at OJJDP (Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention)

On February 24, 2014, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET, the Commission to Eliminate Child Abuse and Neglect Fatalities (CECANF) will hold its first public meeting in Washington, DC. CECANF is a federal advisory committee established to develop a national strategy and recommendations for reducing fatalities resulting from child abuse and neglect. At this meeting, CECANF members will discuss previous reports, future plans, and other subjects set forth in the Protect Our Kids Act of 2012
