Visions Server Update Policy Announcement

Dear Client,

We have changed our software upgrade and update policy.  Effective immediately, “Updates” will include the following software changes.

  • Bug fixes
  • Cross browser compatibility
  • Minor enhancements
  • “Updates” are mandatory changes to the software

In addition, “Upgrades’ will now include the following:

  • Changes to the “core platform”
  • Module enhancements that constitute a “new version”
  • Any change that requires a significant modification to the software over the current version
  • An upgrade is optional

*NOTE – All updates will be covered under maintenance. Not all upgrades will be covered under maintenance. Updates will be issued every 6-8 weeks, starting in April 2017. Upgrades will be offered twice per year starting in July 2017.

Global Vision Technologies (GVT) will be conducting an update to Visions Server - the platform behind the FAMCare and/or ClinicalPURSUIT systems on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 - between the hours of 6pm and 3am EDT. The update will be performed regionally and will include local U.S. and international clients - west coast facilities upgrade after 10pm EDT).

April 2017's Visions Server update - introduces new features to the FAMCare system and bug-related fixes.  A full list of features can be found here.

We expect downtime for the server to be less than one hour during this update.  Please contact our client services support team with any questions or concerns about this update.  Our CSS team can be reached through the support button within your software system or by sending an email to our client services department here.
