Juvenile and Youth Services Department and Third Judicial Circuit Court - Juvenile Division Selected to Participate in Transforming Juvenile Probation Certificate Program!
Wayne County is excited to announce that the Juvenile and Youth Services Department and the Third Judicial Circuit Court - Juvenile Division have been chosen to participate in the prestigious Transforming Juvenile Probation Certificate Program in Washington D.C.! This achievement reflects the department's dedication to excellence and commitment to serving the community.
After a rigorous selection process, led by Juvenile Justice Reform at Georgetown University and in collaboration with the Annie E. Casey Foundation, their team stood out among the competition. As part of this program, they will receive, at minimum, one year of consultation and guidance provided at no cost, empowering the team to enhance practices and better serve the youth.
This accomplishment is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the leadership and staff.

The Juvenile and Youth Services Department has been a partner of Global Vision Technologies for the past 20 years. The Juvenile Agency Information System (JAIS) is a powerful system that integrates with several outside systems to help deliver and manage critical information for the County every day.
